mra32
So i'll be changing the oil soon on my 3.1, and I figure I want to change the spark plugs, as i dont really remember when the last time it was done. I want to make this car run really well. It runs pretty well right now, but occasionally it will have a kindof rough idle (this may be motor mounts, they were replaced about 6 years ago) I'm thinking i'll clean out the idle air sensor behind the butterfly. Should the fuel filter be changed any time soon? Any other suggestions to general maintenance?
Robby1870
plugs, wires, air filter (if needed), fuel filter, coolant flush (if yours looks dirty), transmission fluid and filter (depending on when it was last done), check out the shape of the serpentine belt. EDIT: Just thought of something. Are there any sensors i should replace, like the O2 sensor, or others. When do they usuall go bad?

Psych0matt
its a good thing mine seems to be ok, cuz it's apparently crossthreaded. One of these days I'll have to deal with that
Andrew
I would also clean the MAF sensor. only use MAF cleaner though(CRC brand MAF cleaner is like $5) dont use tb or brake cleaner, they will ruin the sensor.
