what exactly is seafoam?

Cleans out the carbon from the intake (I'm pretty sure he was joking )

How long has it been since a tune up? I doubt it would fix everything, but its a good place to start.

haha it works wonders...

reminds me of when Chris Rock talked about Robatussin..

"break a bone.. POUR SOME MORE 'TUSSIN ON IT..got lime deaseas, 'MO TUSSIN"

"car wont start.. SEAFOAM IT.. cradle recall, 'MO SEAFOAM"

Ive never used seafoam, and my car runs like a champ ( other than my spark plug issue )

It just seems like unless your car is running like complete shit, and nothing else seems to work, use this as a last resort....

not really, my car has always ran like a champ and I did it for shits n giggles and it made a diffrence..

100k on your motor.. you will benifit from it..

I only got 115k

Im not even gonna bother with stuff like that because sooner or later my rings are gonna go and Im just gonna build a 3400. Theres not much sense in trying to polish a turd....

Yeah well you got like another 100k till ANYTHING on these motors starts going..

100k is "breaking in" a 3100

Well, when one notices black smoke out the tail pipe and a fuel odor, it usually means a leaky fuel injector or an improperly adjusted carboretor. Since your car has fuel injectors, that would be your best bet. Since you got some mileage on them already, I would invest in some new ones because the injector solenoids are probably shot.

You say that the belt is loose. Is the belt cracked or glazed in any way? If it is, you should get a new one before this one snaps. If it is fairly new, It is either the wrong size or the tensioner is bad.

Thats all I got for now.
