19Cutlass94 Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 Theres GM tool used to remove the springs. A spring compressor wont work because the spring tapers at the top. Quote
Q-Ball Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 OH MY GOD! I hate this. So the spring compressor I have one is useless. How am I able to get this thing done? I have to remove the whole thing, than use the spring compressors? EDIT: Found out myself... YES! Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 yeah I bought springs compressors as well and I couldnt use them. GM has some kinda tool to do this service work. I dont know how to do it because I let the shop install my springs for me. But I do know that you have to drop the whole assembly to remove the springs. Quote
Q-Ball Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 OK, so I guess I'll keep trying to get this thing off. Quote
