Ferreira
I have been making sure that my 3.4 D.O.H.C has been getting regular oil changes every 2000 km, and that the oil level is constantly monitored and maintained at operating. My 91 Cutlass has no oil leaks whatsoever, and runs great. Eccept for when I am slowing down to a light occasionally, my "check gauges" comes on on my HUD and my Oil Pressure light is flashing, but when I start accelerating from the light my Oil Pressure returns to normal and the bars on the cluster climb to a normal setting. Does anyone know what this could possibly be :?: :?:
Redfox340
Sounds like a fading Oil Pressure Sending unit. It's located next to oil filter and it sends out an voltage so that it can be shown on you instrument panel. I'm willing to bet that's probably your case. - RedFox340
Guest Anonymous
:withstupid: Also, make sure there is no oil coming out of the oil pressure sender. If they start leaking they will allow all your oil to pump out on the ground. Trust me.
