Schudini
Other cars have access panels to allow changing of the fuel pump without dropping the tank. Ours do not. Since there is just blank metal (trunk) above the fuel pump, is there any problem with cutting/making an access panel for future use? I would like to do this while the gas tank is out so I never have to drop the tank again. Opinions please.
slick
It's been done by a member on here not too awful long ago. After it was all said and done, he pretty much said it was a waste of his time to do it, and he shoulda just undid the straps and dropped the tank. patgizz
the tank is under the backseat, not the trunk.
