Who makes better coil overs? HT Motorsports or FFP?

I'm looking to buy some coil overs soon. But if I buy from Held, I would make a bigger order and save on shipping. My plan is from HT Motorsports is:

Front Coils Overs 350.00 http://www.heldmotorsports.com/WBody/Coilovers.htm

Trailing Arms (no price yet) http://www.heldmotorsports.com/WBody/Arms.htm

Front and Rear Strut Tower Braces (no price yet) From their site they should fit. http://www.heldmotorsports.com/WBody/Strut%20Braces.htm

And for FFP

Do you think I should just make the complete order from HT?

Thanks.

Most people here will say FFP rears and Held fronts. But you can get a better, bigger discount from Held if you buy the package.... I havent heard anything bad about them, so I mean really I think its just how much do you wanna spend and just weight out the options....

I'm considering trying Held on all 4 corners in the spring... a bit of a gamble seeing as no one else has tried them but oh well... its just a thought right now... gotta come up with the cash first... I'll be going with their Stage 2 coil over kit

i bought the hms coilovers from a friend with a 95 Z34. they were squeaky, clunky sons-of-bitches i think because the springs didnt sit flat on the mounts. i put them in my car with the stock mounts :willynilly: with no problems.

Are you happy with them? Did the quality of them seem cheap to you as it did for others?

yeah, my friend bought them like 3 or 4 years ago. the spring, spring seat, and all that are the same as ffp i believe, but the mount was a piece of crap. not sure if the newer versions have been revised though. i got two sets of rings so i could lock them together instead of using the crappy set screws.

that's a great idea. those set screws are ridiculous.

btw, for those of you interested in rear coilovers from FFP or Held please read this thread:

maybe we can go through AFCO Racing and save ourselves some money buying the parts separately.
