LuminaPerformance Posted May 24, 2003 Report Posted May 24, 2003 Wasssup Fellas?!? Ok so ive decided to in a sense drop my car. I want to buy the coil over kit from Fast Forward, however ive heard bad news in converting from the leaf to the coil overs. Something the the strut towers cannot handle the stress of the coil overs. If somebody has done this , let me know. im really interested in finding this stuff out. Quote
Redfox340 Posted May 24, 2003 Report Posted May 24, 2003 I don't have them personally, but your shock towers have to be rusting out and have poor material strength for them to cave in. That was a question I had too, and went straight to the makers of the coil-overs to find out... One of the owners of FFP has ran the coil-overs for over a year and a-half and hasn't seen any problems. You should be fine as long as you don't have holes in the shock towers. - RedFox340 Quote
91GranSport Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 I think someone here already has coilovers, but from the now bankrupt company Twin Dual Cam. Personally I would wait until that "lowering" mono-leafspring comes out. Quote
