LukeZ34 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 4x6's in the front dash and doors, 6x9's in the rear deck. Quote
Bake82 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 FYI I have 5.25's in the door of my cutlass with MDF spacers/speaker brackets. Quote
FordBoy Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 I stuffed 6 1/2in in the dash of my cutty! With some persuassion. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 4x6's in the front dash and doors, 6x9's in the rear deck. werd I managed to stuff 6.5s in the doors in my 88 GP however. I'm not sure if the speaker is slightly lower in the door though. Quote
AxlCrucifix Posted October 24, 2006 Author Report Posted October 24, 2006 aww damn i was hoping a 6x9 would fit in the door, since the panel on the door looks really big i went and bought four 6x9's Quote
slick Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Bleh.... 4 6x9's sound like ass. An oval speaker can no-where reproduce the sound quality and reproduction of music as well as a round speaker. If anything, pick up a set of 5 1/4" coaxials, and cut your door panel. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 The 6.5" Infinity co-ax I had in my 88 GP sounded pretty good. Quote
slick Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 The 6.5" Infinity co-ax I had in my 88 GP sounded pretty good. Yep, I'm sure they did. Hopefully he will return one of the pairs of the 6x9's and go to a round speaker. Quote
