RobertISaar
thinking about welding up my own headers for my monte... everyone's seen a Tri-Y on a V8 right? i'm thinking Dual-Y for the 3100 to pick up some more torque. i shouldn't need very big primaries for what i'm trying to do right? i should probably move the intake while i do this too because the stock exhaust manifolds run under them right now and i'm sure the headers would put off even more heat and rob me of my work... FordBoy
I was gonna put duals on my cutty. But it turned out to be to much work and $$$. My plan was to take one header make one opposite of the way it is and send another pipe out the back. But I dunno.
RobertISaar
after i get headers done i would get rid of the Y-Pipe and stick a balance pipe as close as i can to the engine to get it both quieter and get some more bottom end... FordBoy
I dont like quiet the louder the better. Sticker on my window:"Loud pipes save lives" and "Drive it like you stole it"
luminal67
i shouldn't need very big primaries for what i'm trying to do right? smaller primaries will give you more torque.
