Guest TurboSedan
thanks! i got my TGP crossover pipe back yesterday (had the EGR bung removed) so i installed that. last night i drilled and tapped the EGR hole in my plenum for 1/2" NPT and put a brass plug in it. screw EGR heh. i should have most of the turbo stuff installed today but i'm still waiting on new SS bolts from McMaster-Carr, some gaskets, and a new GM vacuum line harness. i might just throw the old collovers and struts back in the car so i can at least drive it even though one of the struts is totally blown out. GP1138
Josh, that looks awesome! Are you ever going to get to drive it again, though???
Guest TurboSedan
Josh, that looks awesome! Are you ever going to get to drive it again, though??? SOON i hope. i can't afford new coilovers or a FAF leaf spring at the moment so i'm just going to throw in the old TDC coilovers & blown GR-2 struts back in the car for now. i also need to finish installing the downpipe and turbo but that only takes me about an hour to do. the only other things it need is a new GM vacuum line harness, plenum gaskets, new SS bolts for the turbo and renew the registration. since i've stopped driving the car last June, it's gotten: - dual outlet exhaust from TSTE - new (used) turbo (old one smoked at idle) - new (used) downpipe bracket (old one had a stripped bolt) - removed EGR bung from crossover pipe and had it welded up - drilled & tapped the EGR hole in the plenum so i could install a 1/2" NPT plug - '95+ 11.25" front brake upgrade - Intrax lowering springs - new front KYB strut mounts and boots - i have new rear KYB GR-2 struts and new KYB strut mounts here waiting until i get coilovers or a FAF leaf - new GM balljoints - new rotors (all four) - new pads all around - TGP specific fuel lines - TGP specific heater core line - new primary fan & blade i really miss driving it. wayyyy more fun than the Regal GS.
