the 89 GP - 174km (180km) is govenor

 

as for non w cars.

 

dodge shadow - 200km (going down a valley) :lol:

ford tempo - 180km

Mercedes 400E - 140mph

the colt - 150km (no gear left)

i have hit about 125 or 130. its hard to judge for sure, but the needle was about an inch past 115.... very scary when it doesn't feel like you are going that fast!

I had my 88' SL up to 170km/h but backed off because my bearings in the front were complaining loudly.

 

I had my 93' Int up to 165km/h but also backed off since I was nearing the airport fast and remembered the RCMPs are always on the prowl.

My car is actually very stable at 130+, despite the bald tires.

I have also had a honda yzf1000 above 165, that was fun. That was only a few weeks ago.

Cutlass - It was past 100mph, not really sure how fast though. I passed a truck in the passing coming up over a hill and then going down the other side I just never let off the gas lol

 

Mirage - About 75... It has no high end power but gets to 60 pretty damn fast.

i thought the 3.4 limiter was at 124 because thats about where mine kicked out at? but yea 124 in the limuna and about 95 in the escort.

Fastest I've went in a W-body is in my '95 Lumina and that was around 70mph on the freeway. I see no point in trying to go any faster than that in a W-body.
