In order for me to use the FFP billet engine mount's i'll have to swap out the bracket's that mount over the radiator to the 3.1 or 2.8L one's. I tried searching around but couldn't come up with any part #'s for the bracket's. Does anyone here know the number?

What year and engine is your car? I'm assuming that it is a '94+ L82 (3100) car?!? If you have the newer style brackets that don't look like what a 3.1 or 2.8 have, then yes you do need to go to a junk yard and pull the brackets to mount above the radiator for the FFP dog bones to mount correctly.

Q: Will the 3.1 W-body dog bones fit my 3100 W-body?

A: Yes and No. Some late model '93s and early model '94s with the 3100 SFI use the same mounts as the 3.1 MPFI. The easiest way to tell the difference is to look at the end of the dog bone above the radiator. If that end has a large square rubber bushing, then it has the newer 3100 SFI style mounts. If both ends of the dogbone have a round rubber bushing, then it's most likely a 3.1 MPFI style mount. If you have the 3100 SFI style mount and want to use the 3.1 MPFI style, you can use all the brackets and hardware from a 3.1 MPFI. You can usually find the necessary brackets and hardware at a salvage yard fairly cheap.

Unless your J/Y doesn't have many domestics (find that hard to believe), you should be able to get the right brackets from a W-body. If you can't find any, you might be able to have a member pull them and ship them to you. Where are you located? Maybe someone can tell you a better yard to check?!? :dunno:
