91GPLQ1
Hi! Great forum! Helped a lot! My 1991 GP/SE LQ1 never ran right at idle from day one of purchase, a year ago. Changed plugs, wires, coils, TPS, IAC, nothing helped. Finally filled up a bottle of Redline Fuel system cleaner in a tankfull. Soon after next fill up engine dies twice trying to pass an 18-wheeler. Got home changed fuel filter, test drive, engine dies, no start. Thanks Redline, nice..... Checked fuel pressure, fine.. Checked ignition at plugwires with timing light, fine... Checked current at injector connectors, fine... Measured resistance on injectors, #2 0.4ohms, #5 4.6ohms, the rest 12.4 ohms, hmm, not fine.. Replaced injectors with 1996 Delco part-#, WOW, it´s alive and have never ran better, OK maybe when new, but what a differece, super silk smooth running engine, no more sputter, no more highway jerking (sorry), just an awsome running engine. White93z34
good to hear, i love the way these engines idle, so smooth, with the sound of a sewing machine from the injectors.

91GPLQ1
Thanks all! This is a great forum. Anyone having running problems with their 1991-93 LQ1 should check/change the injectors first thing....
