posted this in whatever but i am gonna do a poll, the time is near for me to decide which i want becasue i am gonna buy rims over the winter and have them on for spring. Much decisions for me and i have basically narrowed it down to these 2, i have had chops of both done on my car, i have seen both the rims in person, i still cant decide... you see the theme i am looking for, a brake upgrade is in the works as well FWIW (nice n shiny, instead of stock calipers)

let me know what you think i cannot decide somebody run up the votes to sway my decision

17" black casinos

17" dale jr's

Bottom line...

the casinos would most likely cost me about $400 more for the rims/tires but i can go to like 6 different shops here in edmonton and buy them from stock. the dale jr's are 400 USD for the set of 4 (no rubber) but the jackoff running oewheels is a dink and will not give me a straight answer as to wheter he will ship to canada or not and for how much

Is there an option for anything else but black rims or black inserted rims. They are wayyyy overdone.

Casinos. I also think maybe some newer Monte Carlo SS' would look good, or even LT wheels.

sure toss some ideas out there with pics of course... i need all the help i can on these, just i am not a big fan of chrome wheels

the dale jr's would look sweet on your car!...go with them!

The casinos look cheap.

Go with the 5 stars. They're the best looking FWD rim out there IMO

Yeah and no one has ever put diffrent w-body wheels on their w-body and call it a "rim upgrade"

uhh...not sure what you meant by that...but, FWIW: i'm planning on using 17" '04 GTP wheels on my car...they are just plain HOTT!!...

oh...and those first wheels are way to much BLING BLING for me...and too much for your car, IMO

im just saying your going to want something that looks aftermarket and not like the stock wheels.

I say both choices  find something else.

Who said that's what he wants?

all the neysaying....

these 2 are basically my top choice for stock and aftermarket one of each get it?

i dont see the casinos as being to much for the car... there isnt anything going on with the casinos.... there is basically no special details on them to give then any extra punch factor, if they were chrome then maybe but i dont like the chrome.

the dale jr's are a hot wheel but i am not set on "upgrading" to stock rims, but as far as stock rims go those would be the ones, only other option i guess would be those 5 stars in the polished finish, casue once again me no likey chrome.

anyone who has a different idea that you think would suit a white car with all the black that mine has PLEASE STEP UP and show me a pic of what your offering... BTW i am also adding a black SLP lower grille... paid for that today as well.

All i know out of this is by spring i want some new 17" shoes for my car

Posted

see for me... THAT is too much for my car, kinda why i like the casinos... another option would be the rougue from american racing, basically the same design as the casino but 5 spoke instead of 10

Posted

these are the rogues... i kinda like em just i am not sure about the "rivets" around the outer lip

I don't care for fake bolts or rivets.

Lemme look around and see things that would look good on your car.

IMO, BBS style of wheels are the sharpest looking wheels.
