i have a cousin that has been working in the field for 9 years now as a installer and he says it is decent for the price. I have one 10 in my trailblazer and it gets plenty loud enough, and is clear. But if your going for huge #'s i would stay away from it.

Audiobahn = Roadmaster (walmart brand). Nothing but bad luck out of the speakers we have/had.

I think thats me saying I have had them, and currently have them.

I had a pair of Audiobahn 6x9's in my Cutlass from the previous owner. I blew them in a week. Put the stock rear ones in and they lasted about 6 months... so I would say they suck. That's the only experience I've had with Audiobahn and it was terrible.

My friend has an Audiobahn Immortal 15" quad voice coil sub, with the carbon fiber cone and aluminum dust cap, 2000W RMS, and it is a SPL MACHINE!!!

Have a freind that lives across the street from me is heavy into music and stereo systems. He isnt brand specific, he looks for what looks good in its surroundings, and what fills the car with quality sound. He has done a DAMN good job at it. He has AudioBahn in his car, but only their amps. They seem to make a good quality amp, sounds good, and looks good too. But he even says to stay away from their speakers.

I have a set of 6x9's in my 87 6k. They have been falling apart since we got them. Dont sound good, and a few other things. I have had other audiobahns in the past, and have had the same issue with them. I wont buy their speaker products again. Would consider their smps thou.

The only good audiobahn sub ive heard was a older model 15". Not sure of the model, but there was no chrome on it. It was in a mid 90s escort hatchback, it was damn loud. Now the kid has a DD 15" running off 2 Crossfire 2000ds. Loudest thing in my immediate area that i know of.

The other bad thing about audiobahn is that they arent exactly cheap. For the money you can get a much better product.

SQ greatly depends on the install, but still, I havent heard a sub from them that Ive liked.

Yep, just ask Matt(loudcut) the difference in the sound quality between his old Audioblah and my JL. Night and day difference.

well JL is like top-of-the line stuff... also much more expensive, so I would hope it's better.

In this case, the only way I can see the audiobahn being better than the JL, is if the JL was in some really shitty box, and the audiobahn is in the best box possible for that sub. But since thatll never happen, JL is MUCH better. Both in SQ and in SPL. audiobahn and companies like such are for the people that are cheap and wont spend anymore, because well they are not that expensive IMHO.

I had an audiobahn ALUM15Q (roughly 2000w RMS) that i had hooked up to my 1600w sony amp, and it didn't last a day. I blew out the voice coils, of course, it was a while ago and it happened to be the first dvc sub that i had hooked up, i may have hooked it up wrong.

For the record, it did sound good when it was working.
