Brian P
Check the horn fuse first, then most likely it's in the steering wheel, but I dont know if he wants to mess with it since it's got the airbag
gimp19
Most chances are its a fuse, did anything else stop working with it?
ismellrealbad
chances are he was in a horn war and now the horn stopped working. ive had that happen to me and other people too.
gimp19
The actual horn part under the hood? My old car and my moms van like to blow horn fuses constantly.
Bolt_Crank
if it was a horn war.... you'll be lucky if it's the fuse, on my truck the horn itself burnt out... (sounded like a dying cat)
gimp19
Yeah, if it started making funny noises before it went its the actual horn unit under the hood. If it just stopped working it could be a fuse or loose wire start with the basic's and work your way up.

ismellrealbad
then the actual horn is broken. replace it
Slade901
You could always disconnect the horn wires under the hood and directly connect wires from the horn to the battery and see if it works. More likely the horn will work. It could be bad fuse, loose wire. I have similar issue with my horn which makes a sick horn when I use it. The fuse is fine, horn is fine (directly connected wire to the battery). I was reading about relays and I think it mentions that the horn is routed via a relay? My 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme mentions that there is a relay on the left passenger side under the close to the struts mounting bolts. I will try to check that area and see what happens. Bolt_Crank
if it's the relay, then it would either work, or not work, and sometimes work.... not make funny noises.... at least, it shouldn't o.O
