97CuttySupSL Posted September 29, 2006 Report Share Posted September 29, 2006 hey guys i didnt really know were to post this but ok...so i staterd my car to go to school today and to let it warm up...i begin driving about 15 mins later and the lil red battery light goes on...i think maybe jus a bug becausae i put a battery in about maybe 2 yrs ago and i jus put in a new alternator...so im driving down a street that has a 40 mph speed limit and i hit about 3200 rpms and the light goes off..slow down for the turn and the light goes back on...then bam the car dies out..im coastin....needless to say and officer came by and helped me jump it..but after that it was still runnin reeeaaallly sluggish...it would not go over 2000 rpms aor 30mmph...i put in a new battery about 20 mins ago and the light is still on...im thinkin maybe it is the ground....that part probbly has 150k on it..so i dunno if you guys can help it would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At one RPM the light would come on, then once a gave it some gas it would turn off. Thought it was a bug. Week later it totally took a crap on me.
