RJansen658
Does anyone know.... would the 5spd stickshift trans found in the Lumina Z34's bolt right up to a 98+ L67? What tras is that anyways? 282? I am unfamiliar with GM stickshift transeseses Is there a better trans that will bolt up to a 98+ L67 and still fit the 92' Lumina cradle? I need some info from you manual trans guys...
cutlassdude96
yes the 284 was used in the Z34 and you need a custom flywheel
RJansen658
Easy enough... 284 is better than 282? Flywheel won't be that hard to get.
JakeMetz63
What do you mean by "better"? The 284 is just about impossible to rebuild but I hear that it has nicer gearing and handles power better.
intern8tion9l
interesting, i heard the 282s were better. but i honestly don't know
