YAY! gunna start my own tuning!!!

well after talking to Dave (invasion1), about buying some tuning stuff...... he made me a shopping list and i got the goods....

 

what dave said:

-Download the Tunerpro software

-Buy a Moates.net http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adapter-tpi-etc-p-32.html adapter

-Buy a Moates.net http://www.moates.net/s2-aries-28pin-zif-socket-p-44.html ZIF socket

-Buy the Moates.net http://www.moates.net/ostrich-real-time-ecm-emulator-p-57.html emulator

-Buy the LC1 WB 02 which works in the tunerpro software and is really slick for tunning and you can buy at Moates.net http://www.moates.net/lc1-lambda-cable-w-o2-sensor-standalone-wbo2-p-88.html

 

in total it cost me $500.39 canadain shipped to my door ($419 + 17 shiping+ exchange rate)

Tuning isn't that hard you just have to be cautious and watch your knock and your wideband, among other things, but those are your most important things to watch.

I had the moates adapter for the STE, and it worked great. I also just bought a powertuner, the users and tuning guides are huge.
