black_97_ls Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Daytona 500 Grand Prix? I've seen a couple, but I honestly don't know what the deal is. Grand Prix 'Special Edition'. Rare or not? IDK nothing special, just a GT outside my place. Quote
Crazy K Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 more pics or the rears on the first twom close ups of the markings? Quote
97loudcut Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 niether are rare.. tons of them around my place. Quote
Brian P Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 The Daytona is nothing special other than badges, the hood vents and wheels (which became a feature in the next model year) the interior is 2-tone graphite/gray which is pretty nice. Quote
Robby1870 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 And the "special edition" Gen 1 GP probably has the base 3100. It's nothing more than decals, body painted wheels and I think a nice interior. Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 IIRC, Daytona was just a limited production package that wasn't anything more than a few appearance tweaks to a GTP. Quote
fastbird232 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 niether are rare.. tons of them around my place. Yup. Three Special Editions around here (one with the LQ1, even). Hell, we even have two GTXs in town. Quote
black_97_ls Posted September 22, 2006 Author Report Posted September 22, 2006 meh. Oh well. I'll learn. I hardly see anything nice around here. Quote
Euro Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 thats cool man...we all gotta learn somewhere. and the Daytona's are cool as hell IMO, although I like the 98's better Quote
black_97_ls Posted September 22, 2006 Author Report Posted September 22, 2006 I just love the '92 to '96 GPs and Cutlass' and ofcuz the Montes Quote
jeremy Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 the thread would never end if I took pics of all of the Ws that I see daily Quote
Bossman429 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 No shit, I walk by a 5 speed 88-89 GP everyday walking through the parking lot at KSU. Seems like every shitty 88-90 GP I see around town is a 5 speed car, I've seen 3 so far. Quote
97loudcut Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 seriously any time I leave my house I will see ATLEAST 5 grand prix's Quote
1990lumina Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I'll start seeing the first gen Luminas out in full force this fall-spring....everyone uses them as winter beaters lol Quote
jdcutty Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I literally cannot count to 25 without seeing one on the road at any given point in the day. There are like 30 on my block alone, and it is less than 1/8 mile long. Quote
blkinternational Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 i wnat that white on white gp my ex gf had one it was nice as hell on the inside all black leather hud bunch of shit i love they way the look Quote
Addicted2bass Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 There are lots of 97+ GPs where i live. Tons of 3.1 Luminas, a decent amount of 3.1 cuttys. Not alot of pre 97 GPs. And very very few 3.4 cars. There are a few Z34s I see regularly, a few 3.4 cuttys ive see more than once. No 3.4 GPs that ive seen more than once or twice. When I was in Ontario last weekend I think I saw more 97+ GPs than any other model of car. Quote
