GrandAmSE
I have a second engine I'm building up need in doing some research found out some bad news. The previous owners replaced the gauge cluster. The engine has 160,000 miles not 60,000. I got the car for free so what do I care. So if I'm doing a total rebuild on the engine does it matter the mileage on the block?
Psych0matt
nope, not really. if youre doing a complete rebuild, than you have nothing to worry about. Heck, my guage cluster, trasmission, body, and engine all have different milages on them

Robby1870
Of all the Ws I've owned, none of the odometers have worked correctly. Thus, none of the mileages are 100% correct. No big deal, no one will know.
