A '92 Z34 does not have traction control.

But, it does have ABS if that is what you are looking to disable.

sometimes when launching the tires will spin then it seems to cut out like something is limiting traction such as traction control, maybe my car just sucks

Rub grease all around the threads of your tires. That will prevent them from cutting out as cutting out happens when they gain traction. This will make you car into greased lighting, if grease lighting couldn't crawl it's way out of a hole in the ground!

 

 

seriously if you are just trying to roast tires, you need a bleach injector/spray sytem for the tires to make then slippery.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't you get a faster launch by not spinning your tires so much?????

you have a 3.4 which equates to no low end, only thing you can really do is power brake and try to get the rpms up before you launch. Ive tried it a few times this last week or so when Ive had the chance, and I still can't really seem to launch good

Their is 1 other way to roast tires but i wouldnt recemend(sp) that. Its a drop neutral. But i broke my cv shaft from doing that so DONT DO IT!!

actually if im not mistaken you can get into the power band quicker on the 3.4 if you spin

when in fact they have just as much if not more than the 3.1

they feel about even to my 3.1 until about 3k and then the DOHC just starts pulling away
