wreckless123
My cruise works half the time. Sometimes for hours at a time and then just quit? From reading here, there is possiable a corroded ground to the CC box. Could someone help me find the CC box and were the ground is located that I am looking for. Pictures would really help.. Thanks for any help in advance..
DiscoStudd
The cruise module is attached to the driver's side strut tower, and on the 91's, it should have a large rubber diaphragm on the outside of it, and will also have a vacuum line connected. In the vicinity of the battery, check the condition of the vacuum lines and the 3-way check valve. Check the vacuum canister under the driver's side fender (near the bumper) for any cracks or broken vacuum line. There's also a cable running from the module to the throttle body, so if you ever need to hunt down a cruise module on another car, that's the surefire way to find it.
