matt1987
I don't know if this is in the reight section but, on my 95' GP, I have no clock display. It is a stock cd player. The cd player/radio everything works fine. Even the eq and preset buttons light up, but the clock/track number display doesn't light up. Is there a bulb inside the radio that illuminates that section, or am I screwed?? Thanks for any help
ToroToro
Should be in audio section. But the screen doesn't use a bulb. It sounds to me like one of the solder joints around the screen broke loose, and will need to be re-done. These radios aren't all that hard to get apart... Crazy K
fixed this problem in a 91 Pontiac 6000. now... it may not be the smae probelm as yours suffers, but... I opened the radio to discover that a resistor looking part on the circuit board was visibly burned. there were two right next to each other and the must have been about 3/16" in diameter. I salvaged the exact same part from a junk radio I had and soldered it in place, and it fixed the issue.

Lord Bowler
Yeah, I had to put in a new stereo in my 1997 Sunfird 'vert when the display went out. No big deal.
