Singh
Ok my 3.4 DOHC has done this twice i tried to add some washer fluid because there is NONE above the battery, after adding it the car runs reallllllllllll rough and i cant figure out why my best guess is the computer is confused? and the car SMOKES BAD from the mufflers like the mixture is totally rich, tis very very bad, the only way to stop this is drain the washer fluid? because i just did it now, put some in, and its doing it now, running rough, and i dont wanan drani all that fluid its pain in the ass, plus i wanna figure why its doing this?!? as we ll i disconencted the plug for the pump on the bottle to see if that made any differnece, it didnt, it seems to be some sort of mess up like a vacum thing who knows, i need some help thos this is crazy.... thanks alot in advance cuz my headache is goin worse ph and it will run so rough idling it will stall
Singh
HOLLY JESUS THIS REALLY SUCKS the people who sold the car to me are really stupid, the hose that was connectde to the washer fluid bottle was like a vacuum line and i was forcing the washr fluid into the engine therefore it was running pretty damn rough !!!!!!!!! why in the hell? now the question is, i have the correct hose on there and now it squirts !, but where does this vacuum line connet too?!?!? does anyone know? ill put some pictures up... Heres the line wich was plugged into my washer fluid bottle... the correct one is plugged back in, now the one in my hand has no where to go? so as you see this vacum line runs right next to this washer hose, so where does it go?? Singh
u think the engine is fucked really bad cuz of this? and can i run the engine by pluggin the end of the line temporary because the hose or the line w/e it is isnt long enough to get to the balloon thing since it was broken and cut off to fit the washer bottle
AWeb80
u think the engine is fucked really bad cuz of this? and can i run the engine by pluggin the end of the line temporary because the hose or the line w/e it is isnt long enough to get to the balloon thing since it was broken and cut off to fit the washer bottle I doubt the engine is bad...as long as it ran and didn't stall out.....but then again, when i seafoam my cars, i stall them out by flooding them....so, i bet it is still good. The engine will run, but prolly with a little vacuum leak....so you might have a high idle. so ya, just plug the line for now.....with what you may ask,....idk...could fall back on the trusty Duct tape...lol
White93z34
ha! if anything, it cleaned the hell out of your top end, highly doubtful that it did any damage, some people will squirt water in the intake to clean the carbon out, so i'd venture to say your top end is clean now. jdcutty
The only problem with washer fluid it that it when it evaporates, it cryastalizes, so lets hope that it didn't happen in this case. And some people are just rediculously stupid, like the previous owners of your car.
Singh
ok thaqnks for the help guys this is still the first time i ever seen anything like this probally the last... hopefully lol i'll leave it plugged now with a screw in there snugg and have to order a new line when i find out the part number the car is running fine again, i got real worried i scrweed it over in the radiator is alot of dirt lookin stuff my brother said it was from the stop leak stuff the previous owners used on the radiator, so im guessing its ok, but to be safe im going to get a new radiator and hose because i see one hose leaking coolant a bit and the coolant is always dirty too from that crap so probally flush it out.. do i have to get it professionaly flushed out, or can you do it your self??
