19Cutlass94 Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Look how fast my Cutlass is! Blew the emblem right off! Actually, I went to the touchless car wash to wash the Cutlass ( even though it doesnt do the best job ), and it was there before I went in, then I got to work and its not there anymore. So anyone wanna get me an Olds Emblem?! Pretty please with a cherry on top? Quote
BCM Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 my guess would be it fell off while coming to a stop or something. That's kinda strange though. I've seen a white Cutlass Supreme around the school parking lot and if I'm in the mood I'll take their emblem Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted September 8, 2006 Author Report Posted September 8, 2006 yeah Im sorry about that! That emblem was perfect! I was pissed when I saw I had no emblem! I guess Im not using that 3M double sided tape again! Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 i used a piece of 3m tape and made sure the little tab was in the hole, held for well over a year now Quote
Crazy K Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 use EMBLEM tape. availible at autostores and in walmart kmart etc etc. in the automotive section! Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 yeah, mine was automotive mounting tape, to clarify Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 8, 2006 Author Report Posted September 8, 2006 I duno what kinda 3M tape it was, but it sucked. Maybe some of that stuff plus some black silicon would do the job... Quote
Crazy K Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 trust me. emblem tape reattached the siding strips on my 91 euro. it lasted the rest of the life of the car, or about 30,000 miles Quote
Euro Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 lol that sucks!!!! the color of your car looks really cool in that picture Quote
5speedz34 Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Doesn't the emblem go through a hole and a nut holds it in place? Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Doesn't the emblem go through a hole and a nut holds it in place? mine had a hole and a piece that stuck into the hole, but it wasnt threaded. Quote
ripp Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 with the nut on it you wont need any tape! Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 9, 2006 Author Report Posted September 9, 2006 I didnt feel like trying to get tht nut on because it looked like a bitch. So I used double sided tape. Ill have to find something better. But maybe this time Ill try to put the nut on Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 9, 2006 Author Report Posted September 9, 2006 I dont have a paypal account... or anything for that matter Quote
BCM Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 but they'll be dead soon....fucking kangaroos.... Maybe you could find another emblem at a local junkyard if you have one in your area. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Posted September 10, 2006 Im sure I could find one in the yard here, but the thing is, between school and work, I have no time. And when I do, the yare closed... Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 19, 2006 Author Report Posted September 19, 2006 So driving home from work last night, long story short, I got pulled over. Why you might ask? Because my blacked out inner turn signals where red when the lights were on. So yeah the cop didnt like that too much. So needless to say, I dont have blacked out inner turn signals anymore. BTW, Slick, the car doesnt have your 'mask' anymore! Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted September 19, 2006 Author Report Posted September 19, 2006 They did have a red 'tint' to them, although I thought they looked more orange than anything else. When I get home tonight, Ill put the other on on and get a picture of them side by side so you can see. Quote
