Monkton
Okay so this morning I woke up and was getting ready for school. Got in my car and started it the f**ker was shaking wicked bad like it was down a cylinder or two. So instantly I thought I had a coilpack gone. But whatever, I had to get to school. Put it in reverse and the thing quited down and I took it easy all the way to school and it was fine. By lunch I had forgotten about it so I started my car and it was pretty rough then as well, but not as bad as this morning. Waited a minute and took off and it was fine. Didn't do it when I went home either so now I'm just wondering what is going on. It's a 2.3 Quad4 so there's half my problem there lol But seriously, any ideas? I'm leaning towards ANOTHER coil pack. peeeot
Have you checked for any trouble codes yet?
Monkton
This car has only pulled one code ever, and that was for the MAP sensor.
peeeot
Does that mean you checked and there was no new code? Did you replace the MAP sensor?
kknobl
Sounds like a coil pack is shot. Kevin
