GrandAmSE Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Anyone know where to get a tasteful bodykit for my 92 Prix? Key word is tasteful people. Quote
blkinternational Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 if u want a tasteful one..just dont get 1 Quote
92 GP Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 the most tasteful "kit" you could do to your '92 would be a complete B4U (complete meaning the valance as well) Quote
blkinternational Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 (complete meaning the valance as well) yeah thats probley the best idea Quote
97loudcut Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 You guys got to consider these n00bs know nothing about these cars. So saying B4U is jibberish to them. No one makes a body kit for these cars, like the one your thinking of (fast and furious). The b4u was an option for these cars and is the best looking option. You could probably find on in your local junkyard. Quote
Cam'ron Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 did razzi used to make one? i thought i remember seeing a razzi kit once, maybe it was for a GA not sure Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Razi makes a kit for the older Cutlasses. Someone also makes a kit for the GTP's. Saw one today and it was fugly. Quote
ToroToro Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Seeing as he has the 3.4, most likely he already has the sporty bodywork. You cant do much better than that. As you get to be more of a veteran around here, you'll start to appreciate it. Quote
GrandAmSE Posted September 6, 2006 Author Report Posted September 6, 2006 I was looking and found a wing. Damn thing looked like they stole it off a superbird. lol Quote
mfewtrail Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Does your '92 look like this now("BYP" kit)? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y33/mfewtrail/93gpse.jpg If so, you could upgrade to either of the following factory kits(reffered to as "B4U" kits). 1991-1993 B4U http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y33/mfewtrail/forsaleGPGT91side.jpg 1994-1996 B4U http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/AWeb/GP%20with%20Crosslaces%20On/100_0945.jpg (borrowed your pic Adam...hope ya' don't mind ) Quote
intern8tion9l Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 there is this one from andy's........ http://www.andysautosport.com/images/detailed_product/exterior/body_kits/body_kit_component/90_96grandprix dunno how "tasteful" it is; i'd be curious to see what it looked like the same color as the car and with rims Quote
92 GP Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 The AAS Kit isn't TOOO tacky...but the front bumper just SCREAMS "CALL ME A GRANDAM!!!!" Quote
92 GP Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Oh, but the Razzi kit as far as i know is still available, but it was for the GP sans mini quads. Erebuni also offered a kit, it was on my '90 GP Parts car, but was also made for GP's sans mini quads. Quote
Brian P Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Damn, don't ever show that sedan again! Quote
intern8tion9l Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 i think all razzi kits are ugly. they are so plain and every one has all those ribs all over it Quote
Q-Ball Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Personally, I have a 92 Grand Prix SE and I took off my BYP (ugly stock) and added a 94-96 B4U Kit. You can see the difference in the 2. Here's a few pics of Dave's and my car. Before with Dave Now my car looks just like Dave's! Expect I have some funky colour schemez. Alot better IMHO! Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 ^^^^ he was missing the valance, it would have looked much nicer if it had one. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 You know if this car was a different color, lowered and had some nice rims on it, I bet it would look pretty good. Quote
intern8tion9l Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 i still say boo to the whole thing. it has more ribs than a condom Quote
Q-Ball Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 I think he has the 5 Lines B4U kit already on there. Not much you can do. I'd leave it. Maybe get some body work and re painted. Its a nice looks kit. I do prefer the 94-96 Bumpers though. Quote
