Went junkyarding last saturday morning, and came across a black 3.4 vert. looked under the hood and the STB was gone!!! who the hell knows about the stb in the w-body cutlass? so..i was telling Dikran this(raregmfan) and monday night i met up with him, SigEpCutlass, 99RegalGS, and Brian G for dinner

 

and D pulled this out of his trunk! thanks again D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fits up nicely with the firewall...it almost is hidden back there. still not sure if im gonna leave it like that or have someone powdercoat it. so yeah!

no i wanted an RSM bar...but they stoppe dmaking em

 

and lol yea yeah i know its dirty

 

i washed it today for the first time in almost 2 weeks

I know this has either been answered or is totally obvious....but do you need an alignment after putting that on?

yeha i'll probably repaint it. although it being all dirty/some rust like that sorta blends in with the "originalness" of the car

 

sort of like its been there since new

I now know how to tell the 3.1 and 3.4 bars apart.....my 3.1 vert bar is round and that 3.4 bar is square.......interesting....

 

 

and yes, you need to paint it....i pc'd mine....I love it.

thats the 3.1 bar? that looks totally different. i would've thought that the 3.1 bars were attached to the strut tower plate already

 

yours looks like its a aftermarket bracket
