1 lower motor mount, hydrualic, pass. side on the bottom of the motor, nested into the subframe. 1 tranny mount, opposite side bolted onto a bracket that stands off the subframe. tranny mount usually isn't the problem. The motor mount leaks and becomes useless.

please don't jack the motor from the oil pan.. or if you do, at least use a long block of wood.

x2! I know I might need one, but I'm not comfortable doing it either. It's a delicate procedure, and I'm afraid I'd screw it up.

The motor mounts? Not really, it's one of the easier things I've done on a W. Kind of hard to screw it up.

The lower ones shawn. The dogbones are a breeze.

The lower is what I'm talking about. Granted, I only replaced the one on the passenger side, but the driver side one didn't look any more difficult.

I'm not confident enough in my abilties as a backyard mechanic to do it by myself. I guess it's mostly because I've never had to jack the engine up from underneath before. If I were still living with my parents, and had my Dad around I'd try it.

I never had that much confidence, I just attempted it and hoped for the best. I figured worst case scenario, I screw up a car that's only worth a thousand bucks tops.

LOL that's been my motto so far too
