Guest RedCutlassSL
I accidentally kissed a curb with my drivers side front tire last week at about 25 mph. Now sometimes i can hear a squeaking coming from it. It goes away when the brake is applied, but it is present at every speed, but not always. Any ideas? Don't ask how I hit the curb, it was more of a glancing blow. Also, I am hearing noises sometimes from my rear struts? I'm sure they are shot, but I just want to confirm it. Brian P
Squal that disappears with applying the brakes is usually the pad wear indicators just starting to touch the rotor, hopefully that's just it...check the pads

gimp19
My front rotors/pads are only about 8,000mi old and they started squeaking last Sunday after I dove through a huge puddle. Other then that they only squeak when there is alot of dust buit up.

Slade901
Well.. is your lug nuts tightened properly? Rotor got warped? Check it with a dial indicator. Could be the wheels needs balancing after that minor curb accident?
