19Cutlass94 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Get the code pulled, so we all know what it is, then well be able to go from there. Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Go to autozone and theyll pull the code for you so you dont have to wait. You dont need a lift. Just a jack, 1 or 2 jackstands and the tools. Quote

Yea, thats all well and good, but his car is a 95 OBD1.5 FTW Quote
Crazy K Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Oops. I thought I read it was a 91. my bad. I always assume that certain things need replacing. Oxygen sensor has been the reason for most of the check engine lights in my cars, you should repalce it if it is old anyhow. basically I would start with a full tune up with new ac delco plugs, new air and fuel filter, oxygen sensor (inspect at least) an oilo change if it;s due are hasn't been done. see if it makes the car run bettter. bill6639 Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 i wonder how much a full tune up will cost i know if i let the school d it its 7 bux labor but im thinkin parts ( im in college meaning i have no money Quote
Crazy K Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 plugs about $2 each, and use ac delcos only unless you like being sorry. oxygen sensor, bosch from autozone about $18 air filter (please don't get a fram!) purolater, $7 from advance auto fuel filter deutch from autozone about $7 nickles and dimes. are you handy and do you have a few tools?
