95oldsVan Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 On my 97 Grand prix floor shifter console,a few inches in front of the automatic shifter boot is a square hole...it appears there was some kind of accesory door/piece that used to be here,has been missing when I got the car.I was wondering what goes inplace/inside here? Was it another coin holder or ash tray or something?Let me know what it was...and if any pics of whats supposed to be there or links,thats greatly appreciated. Yeah it goes there! Theres no extra wiring under the console area to lead me to believe it was for something special.I have the entire center shifter console out of the car and I think there was prob a glued/fixed on panel door there instead of something actual missing since theres nothing there but an empty square hole.Would like to find a cover for it to cover it up!
