jimmy91444
No thank's I got one of those. I probaly did not explained myself properly .What I meant is: what other year the 3100 was better than 94-95? Or were they all the same ( about piston slap and hollow cam)?/
firefighter_0029
Put a regular 3.1 in it. I have one with an ECM if you want it.
jimmy91444
i was thinking about that also.Put a 3.1 bottom end, with a 3100 top end. I am in Canada, that would be quite a shipping charge.thank's anyway.

Crazy K
Who needs an engine? delete the engine and add a hampster wheel and load it with hampsters!!!! so say I have a problem with w 3100 and want to substitute a 3.1 as suggested... assuming you buy a 3.1 engine.... would it have to be a 94 3.1 Lumina ecm, or any 93 3.1 powered W would be fine? do you have to change the entire wiring harness?
