Z34-5speed
I was revving up my car at the local Advance Auto the other day(there was a POS elantra attempting to rev his fart can, don't worry i dont do this often at all) and when i did it one of my friends who work said that the crackling you hear after i rev the motor isn't good. Is this true? You can hear it after i rev it up kinda high. Tell me if you think this could be a sign of something bad, mabye bad timing? Z34-5speed
Advance is a hell of a lot better than Autozone or O'reillys. My friends and i used to go there and order 76 VW Bug "water pumps" all the time. For some reason they were always on backorder...

digitaloutsider
The first 'bugs were air-cooled, remember?....... The point he's making is that AutoZone was too incompetant to figure out that they didn't have water pumps and instead just made up excuses like "oh, they're backordered right now", which is in true AutoZone fashion. 94CutlassXtreme
I work at Consumer Auto Parts, which anyone not from Mass prolly hasnt heard of. Let's just say I've never been too impressed with AutoZone or Advance.
