rockfangd
hi everyone. ok for the last 2 years i have owned my 94 cutty, 3100 v6. when the car sits for a few hours it takes at least 3 attempts to start the car. i have tried a few gimics. not working like turningon the ignition for 10 secs before starting. nothing. when i go out to start the car in the morning i have to turn it over like 10 times, wait, ten more times, wait then like the third attempt it fires right up. very aggrivating as my car starter does not turn over the car that many times to start it before it gives up. ok heres what i have replaced. plugs, plug wires, cold cranking sensor(which seemed to make it better for like a month) the fuel filter, alternator and battery, *(as the abuse of all of the work to start the car eventually fried the battery and starter.) also changed all of the relays and fuses, checked the aux post . im quite confused and really hope to have this fixed by winter as i rely on my car starter very much, as i do not like to wait, i get in and go. i am quite afraid that one day it will not start at all as every day it seems like it. oh yeah and i know its not a security issue. sorry its so long i just want to rule outa few common probs. any help would be highly appreciated. thanks everyone
Cam'ron
ICM?
Supreme Cutlass
Get a gauge and check the fuel pressure each time, otherwise my guess is ICM also.

1990lumina
you have to get a fuel pressure gage, it screws on to the end of the fuel rail....you should have around 40psi when the ignition on but not started IIRC??
