mdelorie
I've got my rear calipers off as part of my suspension project, and I'm wondering how to go about giving them a good cleaning. Obviously for the outside, brake cleaner will be fine, but what about the insides? obviously water is probably a bad idea, but is there anything you can spray inside the fitting where the braided line connects to clean the insides out? 97loudcut
if you want to clean them I would say clean the outsides up and put a coat of paint on them (black) it really cleans up the look of your wheels.
Guest TurboSedan
obviously water is probably a bad idea, but is there anything you can spray inside the fitting where the braided line connects to clean the insides out? i just sprayed a little Brakleen in there and then let it drain out. then make sure you bleed/flush your brakes good. i also sprayed/flushed the hoses with Brakleen while i had them out.
