AWeb80 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Share Posted August 13, 2006 My 94 GP I already read the write-up in the FAQ section on how to take it apart to fix the hinge....but I can't get the bottome of the consol to split wider than 1/4".....and that is prying it apart. I only see one screw in the back of it by the ash tray and took the screw out....and I still can't get the consol to split apart. Is there a screw behind the ashtray and does the ashtray justp pop right out? I've tried pulling the ashtray out, but it won't budge. what do I do next? Then you should be able to split it open. how easy does the ashtray pull out.....cause I was pulling and thought I was gonna break it..... should I squeaze it a tad and then pull?
