futuretgper Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 ok so im installing a dual red stripe transmission vacuum modulator (adjustable)....im wondering if you pull out the original metal "plunger" and put the seperate metal "nub" that comes with the new TVM in its place....or do you leave the original pluger in and skip the "nub" and secondly (to confirm) clockwise adjustments firm shifts...correct!?! thanks guys! ps mods i originaly posted this in the turbo grand prix section....not thinking about the universal (to 1st gen w-bodies) nature of my question...feel free to remove it! Robby1870 Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Clockwise turning does firm up shift feel. As for the plunger question. I'm not sure on the TGP stock modulator. From what I remember its different than the n/a 4T60 accumulator, so I'm not much help. I know the modulator looks different externally, but I dont know if it's different plunger-wise. BTW, I really like mine, enjoy Quote
