Green97SL
i was able to test out the oil pressure gauge i bought today. i tried using the oem sensor, and got a reading of about 12 psi, at normal operating temp and about a 750 idle. is this right, or do i need to use the sender that came with my gauge. the other odd thing i noticed is that in order for the gauge to work with the oem sensor, i had to reverse the polarity on the back of the gauge, or it would want to bury the needle below 0 psi (i could here it hit the stop). Redfox340
I believe that's about right. How did you tap into the wiring? - RedFox340
Robby1870
GM says that 15psi at 1100rpms is acceptable. ( Im pretty sure on that) Robby
