Flowmaster isn't the flow master. Get Magnaflow.

 

Ok, I guess I'll defend the flowmasters once again.

 

On a test of a modified fox body mustang I've seen before, the stang made 369.4hp/331.8 ft-lbs of torque w/ flowmasters. With magnaflow mufflers, it gained a whopping 3.4hp and .7 ft-lbs of torque.

 

Point being = there's no way in hell you're going to gain much of anything from using either muffler on one of our low hp engines(unless you're turbocharged). You should choose a muffler that sounds best to you.

 

Just for reference's sake, here's a listing of all the mufflers tested on that fox body and how they stacked up.

I have the 3100 SFI

 

and i also have aluminized catback pipeing, a high flow cat, and a resonator

 

along with the muffler..

 

and i didnt say anything about adding HP so

I think Im going to check out a junker to find a Y-Pipe so I can install the magnaflows.

 

So do you think a glass pack is needed for these.

Too much raspiness sounds like ass too though. Try them without a resonator, and if you dont like it, add one.
