Ok well i got some questions I might make a custom pipe for a cold air intake (wow that was the ricest thing i ever said haha) so my question is what is a good pipe to use? size? and all that, i dont want to move the battery unless its easy but it doesnt look like it. How about going down near the bottom of the car? whats the best way? I dont know but i know im not going to do it unless i can get cold air from outsieof the engine bay or its going to be a waste of money

keep the diameter of the pipe as close as u can to the id of your tbody, this way there is the least amount of restriction and turbulence caused by steps in your intake. as for material, wood is the best but we all know its basically impractical, theres a huge thread over on clubgp regarding this, so im sure u can more usefull info over there.

wood... why use wood for a CAI. If you want a custom intake, check out http://www.spectreperformance.com Its basically molded and cromed out heat resistant pvc pipe the interlocks together. Thats what I used. I will put up recent pics of mine in a little while. I just made a heat sheild and installed a ram air system on to my car. This system creates a boast in power, fuel economy, lower emissions, throttle response, and the sweet noise of the car breathing heavily under throttle.

Check out ebay for other products.

Take out the driver's sdie headlight and gut the air box...well unless you want to drive the car on the street at niht then it's impractical

thats more of a ram air type but that would be bad for the engine w/ no filter and for the looks. I think it the stock box system is still restrictive even with out the light.

Gutting the airbox doesn't mean removing the filter. It means taking off that stupid snorkel assembly.
