birdman
i took the camera out and tried to catch my car bogging. it did it from a stop the first two times but not nearly as bad as it usually does it, dam 3.4 making me look stupid from a roll it was fine though. at the end of the long movie when i turn left into the parking lot it kinda did it a little more when i stabbed it both times. i guess ill have to go out some other time and catch him when hes bad. http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a395/birdman1016/?action=view¤t=MVI_0946.flv http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a395/birdman1016/?action=view¤t=MVI_0947.flv http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a395/birdman1016/?action=view¤t=MVI_0948.flv
Crimson Fury Z
i'm 56k, so i wont bother to see the vids. lets say you accelerate moderatley, at the peak of a gear(or close to) it bogs? rpms rev up and down w/the engine? mine does this, but it was after the temp guage went past half. i do have a crap clip on my phone of this. the harder i pressed on the gas the more it stumbled before shooting out some rich smoke(heh, heh, poor vert cars behind me....)and taking off. birdman
right at about 3/4 throttle it bogs, more noticably at lower rpms, it bogs for just a sec while moving though. and it seems to do it at all temps but hotter temps it will do it slightly worse. cutlsp
you need gas...... I don't see what your talking about bogging down. I guess your just expecting the car to start moving without taking into account is has to work through the throttle linkage. I guess you could lube that up if you really wanted to..... birdman
well when it really bogs it will almost sit still and just putz and chug. ill catch hgim doing it. i was actually kinda pissed it didnt do it the one time it was on camera. its the first time since ive had the car that it hasnt done it. Mach 5
thats normal unless your car just started to do that. The second you open the throttle it will take a second for the piston speed to pick up. That is because the air fuel mixture in an engine doesn't immediately ignite. Now I don't know in your situation because i can't watch your vids do to i can't use flash media so this is the best i can do.
birdman
well what i mean by sit still is it will bog and stay around 1500rpm until i let off the gas some then it will go fine.
Mach 5
what trans do you have. Do you think it might be in second, then when you let off it maybe downshifts and then you get the power.
birdman
its the 4t60-e and it is in first, it just seems like its extremely rich while bogging. its making me think there may be a vac leak somewhere because when i unplug the map sensor it dosnt have a slightly rich smell at an idle like it usually does.
