93 Grand Prix
Wuz up my peeps, I told yall that I would come back to visit you guys. If you don’t remember me, I owned a 93 GP until my tranny went out a few months ago. So I’m back to say hi. So what has been going on wit yall? Do you have ground effects for the older sedans? When I left the coil-overs were becoming popular. Is everyone still here; Shawn, Redturbo90, Brian P…Well I miss all of you guys. I am still in college, trying to make it. My cousin just bought a 96 Monte z24. I now drive a 99 Nissan Altima. It is a great car, but I still miss my hoopie. It is a bit smaller, but I can whip into tight spaces now. I don’t have my V-6, but the car has a pretty powerful engine for a 4 banger. It has 150 HP. Pretty good if you ask me. It is basically the same engine of GM’s 2.4L. GM has a problem, they make powerful engines, but the trannys suck because they can’t support all the power. Wanna know something else, the new Grand Am GT says that it can do 0-60 in 7.9 Sec., But my 4 banger Altima can do it in 8.0 sec! Not a big difference at all! I am gonna race my cousin in her monte, I know I won’t win. I now race all your GM favorits: Malibu, Sunfire, Cavalier, Alero, Grand AM. I hear that the cavys and sunfire’s have the new echotec. GM gave up 10 horses from the old 2.4 just to save gas. Not worth it to me. I can take a Malibu with no problem. The Alero and GA 3.4 V6 is a bit of a challenge for me, but who knows! Car-And-Driver compared the altima to the V6 Malibu and Alero and didn’t do to bad. I now belong to an Altima board (altimas.net). They are pretty cool people, and they have some pretty nice looking rides. We have mainly the same type of boards as we do here, but we don’t have many problems with these cars, so our forums are mostly upgrades. I like it, it is a bit like this place, but I will always know where home is! Wanna know something that I found cool, the factory Ground FX from the early GP will fit on the Altimas! Good thing is, I can do a lot of modifications to this car, you guys know that I like to be different from everyone else! Ebay sells a lot of parts for it, I just got to save some money. Another reason I liked my GP. With the hooptie, I didn’t have a car note. But I am glad that GOD blessed me with it anyway. I see that the GP’s have been redesigned, I saw a preview a few months ago, didn’t really care for them, But now they don’t look too bad. Just dress them up good. I like the 260 HP engine too, But Nissan has a better sports sedan now. The new Maxima’s are Bad AZZ! 265 HP! 18 in. wheels. Well let me get out of here before you band me off for talking about Nissan to much. I just stopped by to say wuz up, So drop me a line anytime. Halla back at ya my w-body family! Robby1870
Glad to hear from you again. Altima is not a bad car at all. As long as you know where your home is Robby
