1988-5speedse Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 can anyone explain how obd 1 works if so explain it to me it would help me out alot i know u can get a jump wire to a and b and put your key on the on postion and codes will flash trough the service engine light and all i get is 1 pause 2 if any one can help me i would appericate it thanks brandon Quote

Slade901 Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Yep possible blocked cat. Does the car IDLE rough and what happens if you rev the engine? Remove the O2 sensor out and start the car and compare the IDLE and rev it. If the engine is better without O2 sensor, you've got a blocked cat. Quote
