92SL
Has anyone ever heard of putting seafoam(motor treatment) into the tranny to clean up any gummed up parts? Would this be safe?
J
i wouldn't myself. When you have an older tranny some of the old shavings and "GUNK" are some of the thinks that help it FROM slipping. If i were you i'd do a filter change and replace the fluid that you lost and leave it at that. I flushed mine with a machine at work, but that was at 52,000 miles. THe_DeTAiL3R
No, cause you won't get it all out by simply dropping the pan...
rcktmn455
Get the Trans Tune by seafoam. It does a great job at cleaning the crap out, then cahnge out the fluid and filter.
