joey b
did only the 4T60 come in the 97 Lumina or did they put the 65 in some? I know the 3.4 they changed mid year to the 65 and was wondering if they did the same with the 3100. I don't see a stamp denoting it as the 60 or 65 on the bottom. Is there any other way to tell? DiscoStudd
http://www.rebuiltautotransmissions.com According to them, the 97 3100 only came attached to the 60-E
joey b
according to mymonte the 4T60e was run until 2000. I found that out later, obviously. The 65 also lacks the vacuum modulator, telling me that it is the 60. So, you are correct. Thank you. The plugs for the trannies were different in that one had grooves and the other did not, so I made some.
digitaloutsider
The 3100 and LQ1 were never mated to 4T65's. (Except for the 3100 in the W-bodies from 2001-2003)
