i was just curious i went on vacation for 4 days came back it started right up. duh its a 1994 olds cutlass supreme s sedan. 3100 v6 auto. starts fine but when i put it into gear you can hear a snap, only when i shift with the column shifter. sounds like the sound may be coming from near the firewall. otherwise performance is great. i changed the exhaust and the top motor mounts any help would be highly appreciated.

is there any way you can tell me where the lower motor mount is located on the car. and how difficult is it to change. i think that is what is causing my snapping

Maybe lower motor mounts? I replaced my top as well, but I still get that snap shifting in reverse
