rockfangd Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 hi i have a 1994 olds cutlass supreme sl with the base cluster with tach. i was at a salvage yard and i found a digital dash cluster out of a 1990 olds cutlass supreme. heres the problem the plugs appear to be the same except there are 2 peices on the outside of the plug that have to line up with the connector on the cluster. mounting wise it is fine. i need to know if i shave off the 2 peices so it will plug in will it work or do i have to change the wiring. if thepeices are shaved off the plug lines up perfect but i do not want to short out anything. also does anyone know the schematics for the wires for both the standard base cluster and the digital one. so i know if i have to relocate wires. thanks rockfangd@aol.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
