It's Alive!! 3.4TDC/5-spd Swapped Lumina Sedan. Fixed!

Just noticed that the ECM for a 3.4 car differs from the 3.1, could that be my problem? I'm still using the 3.1L ECM.

EDIT: Just pulled one from a '92 Euro 3.4 so we'll see what happens.

That was it! I can't believe I never thought of that before. I have to give a thanks to Shawn for giving me the hint on his ECM info. (main page)

Everything works perfectly now and it makes total sense, as soon as I saw they added RAM to the LQ1 ECM I knew that was it.

Now to tackle that bloody master/slave again, having the worst time ever getting all the air out.

Oh well I'm so happy my dash is working again, that was one of the main reasons I chose the LQ1.

Things are nearly complete with this swap. Next lots and lots of body work, yeah!! :frown:

You and me both, gonna bolt the front end back on just so I can see what she's capable of. Everything is good now so that's the only thing stopping me.

Well I finally got everything back together and put a good 35 kms on her, it certainly goes that's for sure.

Got her up to only 160Kph or so being her first real run and all but she got there pretty quick. Tranny is good though I should get a stage one clutch or something that can take the extra power better. Right now I'm sure the SHO is faster , but we'll see what happens when I get everything tweaked.

Should you run premium with these engines? My SHO runs way better on premium so I eat it there already, what's one more
